Our Organization


Trippers Philippines formerly known as Trippers Wild Clan is an organization of discreet male gays and bisexuals which was founded last February 5, 2005, sprouted like mushrooms from small group of individuals from the provinces of Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite and the NCR - National Capital Region. After two years, the only group left was from Cavite. They chartered its new commencement last July 14, 2007 and continue to expand up to date.


Due to upsurge of applicants from different parts of the country, the organization continues to expand to Smart and Sun network in NCR - National Capital Region, and thru to our regional club associated from Northern, Central and Southern Luzon, Bicolandia, Visayas and Mindanao.

We are the only gay/bisexual cyber and telecommunications network organization that covers the whole Philippine archipelago.

Trippers Wild Clan formulated its last constitutional amendments and renamed to Trippers Philippines last May 1, 2010.

TRIPPERS PHILIPPINES CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS 
- as amended last January 28, 2011 -


1. MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION, REQUIREMENTS, AND PROCESS

1.1. All interested applicants should have at least one social networking profile available for the purpose of validation. Preferred social networking platforms are Facebook and Planetromeo. In the lack of this prerequisite, an endorsement from a member shall suffice.

1.2. The screening process shall be initiated by the National Vice-President for Human Resources. The process may also include the participation of National General Legal Counsel and/or National Vice President for BootCamp as mandated by the National President.

1.3. Before the newbie and/or returnee is released and welcomed to the floor, he must be first provided with a copy of the Trippers Constitution and By-Laws, to be furnished by the National General Legal Counsel.

1.4. All applicants who will pass the screening process will be welcomed to Trippers BootCamp. This place for learning to all newbie until such time that they are ready for transfer to NCR Main Houses and upon attendance of the upcoming monthly event.

1.5. Upon attendance of the newbie and/or returnee in a monthly event, he will undergo a process of DRAFTING where he will pick his own network house in draw lots.

1.6. The National Vice-President for BootCamp, National Vice-President for Communications and the Deputy Vice Presidents are mandated by this constitution to be the only officer to welcome the newbie and/or returnees. In the absences of both, the Secretary General from the respective houses can take over.

2. MEMBERSHIP OBLIGATIONS

2.1. One (1) week of inactivity in the GM floor (w/o valid reason) may result to membership termination as per MTRCB's discretion.

2.2. All members are required to send GMs at least four (4) in a week (unless there are valid reasons) to meet the minimum required number of points per week.

2.3. Selective GMs to members and officers are not allowed.

2.4. Members are required to attend Monthly Events. Failure to attend two (2) consecutive events would result to membership termination.

2.5. Members who attend a monthly event would be granted "immunity" for one (1) week - meaning that they can be inactive for a week without being terminated. Usage of immunity should be reported to the MTRCB Heads. The said immunity is valid only for a month and is non-accumulative.

2.6. Members are allowed to ask other members to send their GMs only during emergency.

3. GENERAL MEMBERSHIP AND OFFICER STATUS

3.1. Terminated/Quit members are allowed to re-apply for membership after three (3) months.

3.2. Quitting is allowed for only three (3) instances in a rolling calendar period. Returnees will be placed in Trippers BootCamp together with the new members. The clan will have a quota of 50 members excluding the National Board and House Officers. Once a quota is reached, a need for a new house will materialize.

3.3. Only officers are allowed to have a leave of absence for a maximum of three (3) weeks with valid reason and are subject for approval of the immediate superior. Approval of the said leave will happen if the officer has no pending obligations with the organization. If the absence will be for more than three (3) weeks, the officer will be placed in quit status. An officer who quit can return as a member and not to his previous office.

3.4. Penalty for members who are inactive for one (1) week will be decided by the MTRCB together with the National Vice-President for Communications. Officers likewise are subject to discretion of the National Board. Member termination will depend on MTRCB evaluation. Releasing and termination are done every end of the month.

4. OFFICER'S DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS

4.1. The National Board Officers

4.1.A The National President has the mandate to convene the National Board and the House Officers as he deems necessary. He shall facilitate meetings and oversee all operational activities inside the clan. He has the authority to delegate additional tasks to his officers as needs arise.

4.1.B The National Senior Executive Vice President shall assist the National President, acts as Officer-In-Charge in the absence of the President and oversee all internal activities as well.

4.1.C The National General Legal Counsel shall be in-charge of internal crisis and conflict management. He has the mandate to convene the National Board for all case hearings and investigations, and assist any member of the National Board as deemed necessary. Lastly, all constitutional amendments are to be coursed through his office to follow proper legislative process.

4.1.D. The National Vice President for Finance shall be responsible for all monetary transactions within the organization. He shall directly communicate regularly with the National President to provide a report on the clan's financial status.

4.1.E. The National Vice President for Events shall be responsible for the organization's activities, from inception to execution. He shall oversee all external marketing efforts and properly monitor all activity proposals before they are submitted for the approval of the Network Heads.

4.1.F. The National Vice President for Human Resources shall be responsible for recruitment, screening, and member management. He shall work with the National Vice President for Boot Camp for the application process. He shall also work hand-in-hand with the MTRCB of the three (3) networks for proper execution of membership status evaluations and terminations.

4.1.G. The National Vice President for Records and Recognition shall be responsible for the monthly and yearly awards given within the organization. He oversees the tallying of points per category. Together with the MTRCB Chairman and the National President, he has the mandate to give awards to members when deemed necessary.

4.1.H. The National Vice President for Communications shall directly report to the National President. They shall ensure proper cascading of important announcements and notices to their respective networks. Together, they shall work with their respective Deputy Vice Presidents and Secretary Generals to ensure proper network micro management. They have the mandate to appoint members for certain positions that they would deem necessary for their network specific needs.

4.1.I. The National Vice President for Boot Camp shall be responsible for the Probation House of newbie. He sees to it that the newbie and returnees are well incubated until such time that they are ready to be welcomed to the network house. He is also in charge of the process of Drafting for the newbie and returnees.

4.1.J. The National Vice President for Regional Affiliations would be responsible for all non-NCR external linkages. He shall coordinate with the National Vice President for Human Resources to make sure that regional applications and affiliations are processed properly.

4.1.K. The MTRCB Chairman oversee the total operations of the MTRCB. He has the mandate to amend the MTRCB Guidelines which will be subject for approval of the National Board.


4.2. The House Officers

4.2.A. The Deputy Vice President shall directly report to the National Vice President for Communications. He assists the National Vice President for Communications in micro management and information dissemination of his respective house.

4.2.B. The Secretary General assists the Deputy Vice President in information dissemination. He has the mandate to act as Deputy Vice President in his absence.

4.2.C. The Finance Director shall directly reports to the National Vice President for Finance. He is responsible to collect dues and fund remittances on his respective house.

4.2.D. The Human Resources Director shall be responsible for member management of his respective house. He is responsible to keep records of member's profiles and information, and 201 files.

4.2.E. The Webmaster is responsible for the social platform of his house. He assures that social platform is updated on every house event and/or activity.

4.2.F. The Event Directors are responsible for mini events and activities of his own house from inception to execution.

4.2.G. The MTRCB Head oversees the operations of the Analysts. He is responsible to monitor violations as mandated by the MTRCB Text Guidelines. He is also responsible to collate reports of his Analysts and submit to his respective National Vice President for Communications.

4.2.H The MTRCB Analyst shall be responsible to tally the GMs of the members from his respective house.

5. CODE OF CONDUCT

5.1 Promotion of other clans is strictly prohibited unless there is a prevailing Memorandum of Agreement with the mentioned sister clan or approval from the National President.

5.2 Provoking harmful acts against officers or members will automatically result to termination following due process and investigation.

5.3 Propagation of false statements or oral defamation will automatically result to termination following due process and investigation.

5.4 Obscene and foul language that is degrading to any member in any form of text is not allowed and will automatically be terminated following due process and investigation.

5.5 Words and statements that insults and/or undermines the credibility of the officers and members are not allowed. The concerned member/s will face automatic termination following due process and investigation.

5.6 Flooding and GMPMs would be counted as violation. Beyond three (3) warnings is equivalent to termination.

5.7 Any violation in the said Code of Conduct may be reported to the National General Legal Counsel for proper investigation and due process to be observed. The National Board will deliberate on the merits of the case and should provide resolution within 24 hours upon receipt of the complaint.

6. CODE OF ETHICS

6.1 Term of office for all elected and appointed officers shall be valid until the interest of each officer of the National Board and House Officers. Officers can leave their position by resignation approved by the National President.

6.2 All announcements to be coursed through the National Vice President for Communications for their respective networks should be approved by the National Board. Important emergency announcements can be approved by the National President, given that the National Board's approval is unavailable.

6.3 Constitutional amendments will be raised only once every quarter through the office of the National General Legal Counsel. Exceptional cases will be tackled only in case of emergency.

6.4 All motions to be submitted for approval to the National Board must garner 50%+1 vote in order to be ratified. In the absence of a quorum, the available National Board members must vote unanimously to pass the motion.

6.5 Any matter that should arise and not covered by the Trippers Constitution and By-Laws shall be dealt with accordingly by the National Board.

1) THIS CLUB is open for GLOBE/ SUN / SMART SMS group membership and CYBER membership.

2) The SMS CLUB it is exclusively for RESIDENCE OF METRO MANILA - NCR and NEAR BY PROVINCES only.

3) The Club is divided into two GROUPS:
- SMS group which have a limit of 70 TO 80 members per House and CYBER membership group which is unlimited.

4) The organization is OPEN for International and PROVINCIAL affiliation.
